YEAR BOOKS
These all need to be back tomorrow [Wednesday] please.
CARTRIDGES
Thank you all those parents who send their empty cartridges along to our school to support the Inkworks Recycling Programme. The School Support gets a cheque at the end of the month. Inkworks pays our school $2 for every cartridge returned to them. So please support us.

Please keep pushing these chocolates. If your child is having difficulty selling them, could they please bring back what they cannot sell, along with the money, as we have children wanting to sell more. We would like this all finished by this Friday, last day of term. Please bring all money etc to her between 8.30 and 9.00am. Many thanks.

GOAL FOR WEEK NINE
This week we are collating and organising our Year Books. Children are being reflective on their term’s work and making sure they are able to share their new learning with you.
YEAR BOOKS
Year books go home this Friday. Please celebrate your child’s success. Year Books need to be returned to school by Wednesday of next week. Comments by children and parents are appreciated. What do you think of our Year Books? Add your comment through our ‘Year Book Poll’ by clicking the link below which asks the question – do you find our Year Books an effective way of sharing your child’s new learning?

At our school we run a thinking time-out for children who are not making good choices in the classroom or playground. In the classroom, children are given 2 warnings for inappropriate behaviour before having thinking time. Thinking time is in a buddy room in a nominated spot where children are ignored by others. Buddy classroom teachers will place a child there [eg beside a filing cabinet] and make no comment. For those children who
need additional boundaries, Emily operates a time-out session at morning tea and lunch. It is very pleasing to note that children are making good choices at our school and thinking time-out is becoming less evident.
