On Tuesday 18th December Waihi East Primary School is holding a ‘Gymnastics Day’ at the Waihi College Gym. East School classes are timetabled to use gym throughout the day, each class will get about 45 minutes activity time. We will use a bus to transport the children to and from Waihi College. To run the gymnastics activities we would like older sisters or brothers who go to College to help us by looking after an activity each. Three teachers will be at the Gym managing the activities. Helpers need to be at East School by 8.45 a.m. We leave for the gym with the first class at 9.00 a.m. there is room on the bus for the helpers and a class. There will be a break at interval and lunchtime for all involved. The last class will leave the gym at 2.45 p.m. If you are available to assist with gymnastics activities could you please fill in the form below. Helpers need to bring lunch.

This week our focus is on being kind and caring towards others. Our children are usually very good at this, a focus on this will reinforce how we treat people at Waihi East School.
