Rise Above and Shine
Following the end of term 2 holiday break games will resume on Friday 25th July for Yr 5-6’s at Waihi College and on Saturday 26th July for year 1-4’s. Yr 5-6’s play at Waihi College on Friday afternoons from 3.30 p.m. to 5.15 p.m.
Waihi / Waihi Beach Primary School Saturday Morning Soccer will be available for boys and girls aged 5 to 8 years during Term 2 and up to week five of term 3. The year 5-6’s (9-11 year olds) soccer season will be the same except the older age group plays on Friday afternoons at Waihi College – see note above for details.
We do have a break in soccer over the end of term 2 school holiday period. We will play our last game for term 2 on Saturday 5th July and then have a two week break over the end of term 2 holidays.
In term 3 the year 1-2’s will finish soccer in week 4, year 3-4’s will carry on playing until week 6 of Term 3 and the year 5-6’s will continue up to week 7. So the final Saturday Soccer games for year 1-2 will be Saturday 16th August, the last weekend of soccer for year 3-4 players will be on the Saturday 30th of August and the year 5-6’s play their last matches on Friday 5th September.
The games will be played in three grades. Staggered start times will enable parents with children at different venues some time with each group.
