Rise Above and Shine
Could we please have all Agricultural Club Day Cups and Trophies returned to school as soon as possible. Look out for more information next week.
Last Thursday the children at East School had a more unusual assembly, because there was a Talent Quest. There was dancing, there was prancing and a hullabaloo and after each performance it was tight, it was nervous and anxious back stage. Afterwards here is what some people have to say. There were 2 questions that I asked different people so I could get a response from you, the children, to see if we should hold another Talent Quest. How did you enjoy being part of the Talent Quest? [It
was fun and energetic and really enjoyed doing it]. Did you enjoy watching the combinations of dance and music? [Yes was the response]. Then everyone thanked Mrs Huggard for a fun and exciting afternoon.

As part of the visioning process, 20 families have been randomly selected from the school roll for the parents vision session on the 22nd of October. This session will help us refine our school vision. If you did not get the opportunity to share your ideas, questionnaires are available at the school office.
The Habits of Mind School Goal for this week is gathering data through all senses. We will use our natural pathways. This week we will gather data through all senses — taste, touch, smell, hearing and sight.
